Christmas is the time for peace and goodwill.  Help a child with basic needs this holiday season.

Olancho Aid believes that education is the way to break through poverty.  Many Honduran families are giving this precious gift to their children.  However, sometimes even their sacrifices aren’t enough to provide for all of their needs.  They need support from donors like you to meet basic and educational needs. 

 

 

 

Make a General Donation

Your donation will help provide the following needs to children:

-          Clothing

-          Food

-          School Books

-          School Supplies

-          Transportation

Send Supplies through the Mail

We gladly accept items sent through the mail.  Critical items for the program are:

-          Backpacks

-          Pencil cases

-          Two- subject notebooks

-          Spanish-English Dictionaries

-          Folders

-          Small boxes of crayons

-          Scissors with round edges

-          Scissors with pointed edges

-          Erasers

-          Glue

-          Paint brushes

Daily uniforms for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 7 include:

-          White socks (no logo or colored design)

-          Black dress shoes

-          White tennis shoes

-          Jeans (no design)

-          White button-up dress shirts

-          Black belts

Instructions for sending a package to Juticalpa, Honduras are listed below.

• Send via UPS, FedEx or other carrier to: Rapido Cargo, 2154 N.W.23rd Court (Ave), Miami, FLORIDA 33142
• With magic marker on two sides of the box write:  Attn/ Padre Ricardo -  Juticalpa.  Under that write Scholarship Program Donations.
• On the UPS or FedEx  form, where it says “contents”, write:  Educational Material.
• Ground from most parts of the States to Florida takes about 5 days. Miami to Juticalpa takes another 12-14 days.
• OAF appreciates any donation received.  With the growing organization and the growing cost it is difficult to pay for shipping.  Two shipping cost are required to mail a package 1) from your location in the US to Miami; and 2) from Miami to Juticalpa .  Richard Donahue pays Rapido Cargo when a package is received in Juticalpa.  Any financial help with shipping is greatly appreciated.  You may call the Miami location of Rapido Cargo to find out how much it cost to send the box.
